Substy today: what its own pages say

Substy's pages call it an AI chatbot and CRM for OnlyFans agencies and creators, and its feature pages name OnlyFans, Fanvue and MYM. The AI greets new fans, filters out time-wasters, warms up conversations and makes the first PPV sales on its own. Setup, as Substy describes it, means connecting the accounts, importing existing fan data, and setting the AI's tone, scripts, hybrid threshold and chatter assignments from one dashboard. The pages we read do not describe the connection method in detail, so check Substy's site for how an account is connected.

The hybrid mode is Substy's central idea. The agency sets a spend threshold; as soon as a fan has spent that amount, the AI switches off for him and the CRM hands him to a human chatter. A Split Inbox assigns each fan to a person or to the AI by rules the agency defines, and an agency can also go full AI with no threshold at all.

Substy's pricing model combines a plan with a commission on AI sales. There is a free plan with no mandatory monthly fee that charges commission on AI sales; paid plans lower the commission, and on October 19, 2026 Substy's pages gave the range as 15% on the free plan down to 8.5% on the highest plan, with a one-week trial listed in its comparison table. The monthly price of the paid plans was not consistent across Substy's own pages on that date, so we do not quote one — check Substy's pricing directly before you compare.

What Substy does well

It gives a clear answer to the first question every agency asks about AI: which fans should it handle? A spend threshold is easy to explain to a team, easy to audit and automatic — nobody has to remember to move a fan who has started spending, because the CRM does it. For agencies that want the AI on the long tail of new and low-spending fans and people on the rest, that is a tidy division of labour.

The pricing model lets an account start without a fixed fee: on the free plan the cost follows AI sales, and the paid plans trade a monthly fee for a lower commission. It also covers Fanvue and MYM alongside OnlyFans, which matters to agencies with models on more than one platform.

Where OF.ai differs structurally

Who decides when a person steps in. Substy draws the line by spend. In OF.ai the line is drawn per fan and per moment: the AI Chatter can be switched off for any fan, and a person can take over any conversation at any moment and hand it back, whatever that fan has spent. Neither approach suits every agency — a threshold is automatic, a per-fan switch is deliberate — and it is worth deciding which one your team would actually use. If a fan asks directly, OF.ai's AI does not deny being an AI assistant.

How selling is priced. With AI Sexter on, OF.ai's AI offers approved photos and videos from the model's content library, moving through stages such as interest, offer and keeping the fan, at prices inside a corridor the creator sets per category and per kind of file. The code holds the price inside that corridor whatever the model suggests, so the creator's decision about what her content costs is not left to the AI.

Paying for talk and paying for selling. Substy charges a commission on AI sales on every plan. OF.ai separates the two layers: the AI Chatter on the first model of an account — talking without selling — has no seat fee and no expiry, while AI Sexter has a seat price per model and a share of the sales the AI made, both published on the pricing page. This page does not copy OF.ai's numbers, because a copied price is the first thing to go stale.

Which address OnlyFans sees. In OF.ai every connected OnlyFans account works through its own residential IP, and that address belongs to the account, not to a server. There is no shared fallback: a model with no usable address is not started from the server's own IP at all, because accounts that share an address can lose their sessions together. Substy's pages read on the check date do not describe how its traffic reaches OnlyFans; if that matters to you, ask them.

What content may leave. Every file in an OF.ai library carries where it came from — an import from the creator's own OnlyFans vault or a manual upload — and a trust status. One gate makes the decision for every road a file can take, and only trusted imports, verified uploads or items a reviewer has approved can be sent. Substy's pages describe PPV sales but not a review step for files.

How the instructions change. Substy lets an agency set the AI's tone and scripts. In OF.ai that text is version-managed: a change is written as a draft and published deliberately, and the Test Lab first runs the current version and the draft on the same fan message, side by side, without sending anything to a fan.

OF.ai vs Substy: the comparison table

The table shows architecture, not results. Neither column tells you which product will earn more on your page. That depends on your fans, your content and where you want the line between the AI and your team — which is why the switch path below starts with one model and your own numbers.

When Substy may be the right fit

Substy fits an agency that wants a rule rather than a judgement call deciding who talks to a fan: the AI on everyone below a spend line, people on everyone above it, routed automatically by the CRM. It also fits agencies with models on Fanvue or MYM as well as OnlyFans, and accounts that would rather pay a commission on AI sales than a fixed monthly fee while they start.

Before you buy, read Substy's current pricing yourself. On the check date its own pages gave different monthly figures for the paid plans, so the plan, the commission and the monthly fee should all be confirmed for the accounts you would actually connect.

When OF.ai may be worth testing

OF.ai is worth a test when you want the line between AI and people drawn fan by fan rather than by spend — keeping a particular regular with a person from the first message, or letting the AI carry on with a big spender your team is happy with. It is also worth a look if you want the AI to talk for free on the first model before deciding on selling, if you want the creator's prices held inside corridors she sets, and if you want each account's connection kept on its own address. If you are weighing AI against hiring, set the pilot against what a human chatter costs.

It is a weaker fit if your models are mainly on Fanvue or MYM, which this site does not describe OF.ai as covering, or if you want a spend threshold to move fans between AI and people automatically without anyone deciding.

How to switch from Substy without risking a model

Do not move everything at once. Pick one OnlyFans model, keep Substy running on the others, and note today's baseline for that model: how many fan messages go unanswered, how long replies take, what sells each week and how many fans your threshold sends to people.

Connect that model to OF.ai and fill in the persona questionnaire and tone of voice so the AI sounds like her. Leave AI Sexter off at first: switch on the free AI Chatter on that first model, read the first conversations as they happen, take over any fan you want to handle yourself and switch the AI off for fans who should stay with a person. While it runs, import the vault so the library holds files imported from her own OnlyFans account.

When the conversations sound right, decide whether to switch on AI Sexter on that model and set the price corridors for your content categories. Compare the same numbers with your baseline after a few weeks. If the pilot does what you needed, move the next model; if it does not, you have lost nothing, because Substy was still running on the rest of the roster.
